The 2009 Galiano Chamber of Commerce
Photograph Contest

Please join us in celebrating Galiano Island in 2009. Open to everyone!

• Photographs must be original, previously unpublished & taken ON Galiano in 2009.
• Entries accepted until January 1st, 2010.
• Two age groups: 'Senior' (13yrs+) and 'Junior'(12yrs & under).

You have a choice of five photograph categories:

1. Natural Environment (codes S1 & J1)	2. People ( codes S2 & J2)	3. Abstract Compositions (codes S3 & J3)
4. Galiano Buildings (codes S4 & J4)	5. Galiano's Natural Wildlife (codes S5 & J5)	You can enter a total of five photographs, any category!

 

ENTER OUR PHOTO CONTEST

• Entry Fee is $2 per photograph.
  • Maximum 5 photos per photographer.
  • Payments for 4 photos or less ($2 - $8 amounts) please make cheque payable to Galiano Chamber of Commerce and mail to P.O. Box 73, Galiano Island, BC V0N 1P0.
  • Payments of $10 or more (multiple family members or on behalf of friends) please call Chamber Photo Contest Administrator at (250) 539-9993 to arrange payment over the phone via VISA or MasterCard.
• Paid photograph entries can be viewed publically at the Contest Exhibition Gallery at the end of each month.
• Entries accepted until January 1st, 2010.

Two $200 Grand Prize Winners for each age group ...
plus First Prizes for each Category in each age group; these prizes are donated by Galiano Island Chamber of Commerce member Businesses.

Our winners and their prizes will be unveiled on Sunday, February 14, 2010, at a special island event as we all gather “For the Love of Galiano” in celebration of the beauty and uniqueness of our Island. Our venue will be the Galiano Community Hall, thanks to the generous support of The Galiano Club.
