Galiano Island is 27.5 kilometers long, located between Vancouver and Vancouver Island.

With small galleries, shops, studios, B&Bs, cabins and a marina, it is a special place of great natural beauty and interest - the perfect island getaway.

Travelling from Vancouver and the Mainland ?

From Vancouver & The Mainland
Depart on the Gulf Islands ferry from the Tsawwassen Ferry Terminal, 30kms south of Vancouver. We recommend that you reserve space in advance to avoid disappointment, especially in July and August and on holiday weekends.
Travelling from Victoria and Vancouver Island ?
From Victoria & Vancouver Island
Depart on the Gulf Islands ferry from Swartz Bay, north of Victoria. Reservations are not available.

Transport on Galiano

DayTripper Shuttle Bus and Tours runs a seasonal shuttle and both charter and regular tours. The summer shuttle schedule is posted on our Products and Services page.

The Hummingbird Pub Bus runs a regular shuttle between the marina and the pub.

There is currently no taxi service on Galiano.
